This Tropical Smoothie Cafe really is a hidden gem of the campus. It's awkward location and parking makes it a little hard to get to from the main road. But despite that, whether they're busy or slow they're always consistent. Smoothies are always perfectly blended and refreshing, and the food always comes out hot and fast. A lot of healthy and high protein options too. I've been coming here for a few years and they're always ready with my order by time I get there and always tell me to have a good day.

service is always fast, staff is always friendly, restaurant is clean and well maintained, and the smoothies and food are great! the parking lot is a bit awkward, but that’s not tropical smoothies fault

I've been coming here since 2020 and its only been getting better and better throughout the years. The staff is fast and friendly and the restaurant is always clean. Seems to have gotten less popular these last couple of years as there's rarely a crowd, but for my money they're the most reliable smoothie place in town.

This smoothie cafe is pretty amazing in food quality! We love getting their green machine and banana peanut butter, both are always top quality in taste and ingredients! I must say their service is insanely fast as well they are professional in speed and taste, yet missing the charisma and or enthusiasm towards customer interaction. Otherwise if it wasn’t for that important quality in my opinion then it would be a 5 star! I care a lot about human interaction and how willing a business is to greet with a smile and or engagement of any kind. The place is located in a beautiful part of the state, Lansing is gorgeous! They have in front parking, limited but available for free! As well as a handicap parking spot as their first one parked in blue

I've stopped in the Grand River East Lansing location twice in the last month & both times there were issues. I got the Chia Banana Boost this time with peanut butter. This thing was so badly blended that I could barely drink it! No lie that I set it aside for HOURS bcuz it was so thick. Then I finally get to the bottom there's 2 WHOLE dates & sliced almonds that weren't processed. No wonder! That's literally all they have to do - blend it. I could've done better with a $25 blender from Walmart. Actually, I have done better. My prior visit I stood there 15+min AFTER my order was ready to pay because no one could get the computer to work. Not going back.
